Founder & Lead Planner
Started this whole thing because traditional financial advice felt disconnected from reality. Still loves spreadsheets but has learned to speak human too.
Since 2018, we've been working with people across Australia who want to understand their money better. Not flashy promises—just practical strategies that actually fit into real life.
Back in early 2018, Rhiannon Kelwick was tired of watching friends struggle with budgets that looked perfect on paper but fell apart by week two. She'd been an accountant for eight years and kept thinking: why does financial planning feel like homework nobody wants to do?
So she started experimenting. What if budgets weren't about restriction, but about making conscious choices? What if we stopped treating money like a test you could fail?
The first clients were her neighbours. Then their friends. By 2020, we had an actual office and a team of three. Today, we're a group of seven who genuinely care about helping people feel less anxious about their finances.
These aren't corporate slogans. They're the things we actually talk about when decisions get complicated.
We're not here to judge your takeaway coffee habit. Everyone's situation is different, and we start by listening to what matters to you—not what a textbook says should matter.
A budget that requires you to never eat out again isn't going to work. We focus on strategies you can actually sustain beyond the first month of good intentions.
Quick fixes rarely stick. We're interested in helping you build financial habits that make sense six months from now, not just getting through this week.
We're a mix of accountants, planners, and people who've learned financial stuff the hard way. Here are two of the faces you might see when you work with us.

Senior Budget Strategist
Former small business owner who nearly went bankrupt in 2017. Now helps others avoid the same mistakes he made—with less judgment and more empathy.
We don't follow a rigid formula. But there are some steps we've found work consistently for most people who come to us.
We start by looking at where your money actually goes—not where you think it should go. Most people are surprised by what they find. No judgment, just clarity.
What are you trying to achieve? Maybe it's buying a house, maybe it's reducing work stress, maybe it's planning for kids. Your goals shape everything else.
We create a spending plan that accommodates real life—including the occasional impulse purchase or unexpected expense. Flexibility is what makes budgets survive past February.
Life changes. We meet quarterly to adjust your plan as circumstances shift. This isn't a one-time consultation—it's ongoing support that adapts with you.
No pressure, no sales pitch. Just a conversation about where you're at and whether we might be able to help. Most initial consultations happen between September and November 2025.
